As the weather warms the farm slows down during the heat of the day. While our geese graze in the shade, the last of our pasture-raised spring ducks are processed. A small batch of our longer-grown holiday ducks hatch this time of year and will grow out 50% longer than their spring counterparts on the late summer and fall abundance of berries, grains, and windfallen fruit from the orchard. Fruit from our small-batch jams are harvested and prepped for the fall and winter market.
